Are you running away or toward?

Raging waterfalls over rocks with fall leaves

Enjoy the ride

Yesterday I saw a beautiful river flowing and I thought, is the river flowing toward or flowing away?

Then I asked myself the same question.

Am I continually moving away from my life or heading into the new?

Am I walking into new possibilities, new opportunities, future dreams and visions, goals?

Or am I sabotaging by running away and avoiding my life?

Sometimes I think I want something, yet come to realize it’s only because I’m avoiding pain.

Ego plays funny tricks.

Addiction and fear are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

This thing called life is a wild and wonderful adventure and it’s meant to be experienced fully.

So whether you’re falling forward or stumbling backwards, enjoy the ride.

Life’s a trip.

“Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream...”
